Founded in 2022, Accentus Mental Health is a woman owned mental health clinic that specializes in using transcranial magnetic stimulation, better known as, TMS therapy, as a means to help people who suffer from depression. TMS is FDA approved for major depressive disorder (MDD) treatment as well as OCD treatment.

Arlene Parker, PMHNP-BC
Arlene Parker is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has been working in the field of mental health for over 17 years. She is qualified to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to her clients. She enjoys vacationing and spending time with her family.
ELAINE ALLEN, PMHNP-BC
Elaine is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, before returning home to Indiana, where she spent 11 years working in a variety of registered nursing roles. During that time, she discovered that psychiatric nursing was where her passion truly belonged. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating in 2019. Since then, Elain has worked in diverse mental healthcare settings, including addiction treatment, inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient mental health clinics, and programs focused on supporting veterans’ mental health. She also has experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders.
At Accentus Mental Health, Elaine is excited to offer innovative treatment options such as IV ketamine and Spravato therapy. She believes everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and is committed to creating safe, supportive environment for individuals of all backgrounds. Outside of work, Elaine enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and children, and making meaningful memories with her family.
Sarah Parsons, DO FAPA FACLP
Greetings! I am Sarah Parsons DO FAPA FACLP – a Kentucky based triple boarded psychiatrist committed to providing individualized care to each patient. I was born and raised in Lexington, Ky and attended Centre College and Pikeville University School of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed residency in Psychiatry & Neurology at East Tennessee State University, where my interest in Medical Psychiatry started. I completed a fellowship in Consult/Liaison Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH, specializing in women’s mental health, transplant psychiatry, HIV psychiatry, psych dermatology, psych oncology, and ICU psychiatry. I worked at Norton Cancer Institute in Louisville, Ky for nine years before branching out into private psychiatric practice and Interventional Psychiatry. I completed specialized training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and incorporated non-medication strategies into psychiatric care. I love getting to know my patients and working with them to create their best life! I am a solo practitioner with a small, non-emergent outpatient psychiatric practice. I look forward to working with you!
Hayley Sumner, PMHNP-BC
Hayley Sumner, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that strongly informs her passion for working with veterans and individuals impacted by military service.
Hayley is qualified to diagnose psychiatric conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe psychotropic medications. She offers comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication management and advanced treatment options such as IV ketamine, Spravato, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for all patients, with a strong commitment to serving veterans and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She values a collaborative, patient-centered approach that honors each individual’s lived experience while supporting long-term healing and resilience.
Jennifer Rewerts, LMHC
I have been a mental health counselor for the last ten years and have been working in mental health for the last 20 years. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University with a specialization in forensic populations.
I have a wide variety of experience, including correctional counseling, community mental health, in home counseling, working with DCS clients, and in an acute inpatient hospital setting. I have experience working with a wide range of clients, including teens, adults, dual diagnosis, Autism, incarcerated individuals, LGBTQ+, people who struggle with addiction issues, anger management, and severely mentally ill populations.
I work with my patients using cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Some of my areas of specialty include, but are not limited to anxiety, depression, anger, grief, autism, and PTSD. I am certified to teach MRT and Mind Body Medicine.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, meditation, crocheting, hiking, being outdoors, reading, writing, live music, trivia, old car shows, drag racing, and various other community events. “Be the Change You Wish to See in the World.”
DENISE DAVIS, LMHC
Denise Davis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 24 years of experience working with adults and couples. Denise’s experience includes working in corrections, community mental health and private practice. When working with clients, Denise uses a wide range of counseling theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation and Motivational Interviewing. Denise specialties include depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, relationships and woman’s issues. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, and playing with her two dogs Koda and Bella.
BRITTANY WHITE, LMHCA
Brittany is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with two years of clinical experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in addictions—including sex addiction—along with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, women’s issues, and marriage and family concerns. Before joining the Accentus Team, Brittany served as a Director of Addiction Recovery Services for Indiana Women’s Prison, where she developed a deep understanding of the recovery process and a strong commitment to helping clients create meaningful, lasting change. She brings a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to her work, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Brittany believes in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with their strengths. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her plants and garden, traveling, and being with her family and two dogs.
